Pokémon Go just recently received the latest server-side update which introduced the coming of the Generation 2 baby Pokemon. Just a few hours after the update, Pokémon Go players managed to hatch baby Pokémon and it looks like not all of them are available right now.
Apparently, there are only 7 baby Pokémon that you can hatch from an egg. I don’t know why Niantic didn’t release all the rumored baby Pokémon. Maybe they have a better plan why they did it. The recent update also introduced a new Pokémon which has no available evolution on Gen 1 in Pokemon Go, its Togepi. We cannot confirm if Togepi can be evolved in Pokémon Go so we have to wait a little more time for the announcement.
Seven Gen 2 Pokémon To Hatch
In addition to Togepi, there are other seven new baby Pokémon that you can hatch from an egg. Each baby Pokémon has their own egg distance where you can hatch them. If you are wondering what are the seven baby Pokémon, here’s a list for you.
- Togepi which evolves into Togetic
- Magby which evolves into Magmar
- Elekid which evolves into Electabuzz
- Cleffa which evolves into Clefairy
- Igglypuff which evolves into Jigglypuff
- Pichu which evolves into Pikachu
- Smoochum which evolves into Jynx
You’ll notice that one baby Pokemon is missing. Yeah, its Tyrogue which can be evolved into Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan. Perhaps there are still more Gen 2 baby Pokemon available in the game, but so far, the listed Pokemon above are the confirmed baby Pokemon that you can get. We will be updating this post when a new data is confirmed so be sure to bookmark this page.
