Quick Fix For 0.51.0 Loading Error

If you already encountered the error after updating the game to the latest version, here are the few things that you can do to fix it.

  1. Before you open the Pokemon Go app, turn on your data connection and turn off the GPS location in the settings section. You’ll get past the loading screen but you will get an empty map. In this case, minimize the app and turn on the GPS location again. Return to the app and wait until the app locates your current location.
  2. Do the same steps above but this time, use your wifi connection instead of your data connection.
  3. If the two steps above did not work, turn off all your connections and uninstall the app. Reinstall the app again and see if the error still exists.
  4. Lastly, if all of the mentioned quick fixes above did not work, your last resort is clearing your app data. In the settings of your device, find the app manager. Locate the Pokemon Go app and press “Clear data.” After clearing the app data, reinstall the app.
