Clash Of Clans News: Supercell’s Clash Of Clans Is Now Banned In Iran

Clash of Clans is one of the most successful games that are still running now. It was released last August 2012 and already maintained the most played and active mobile gaming community in the history. Players from different countries are joining the fever to show off their strategical talents and skills. Unfortunately, some bad news for the Clash Of Clans players in Iran.

The End Of Clash Of Clans In Iran

According to BBC’s recent news, the government committee of Iran decided to ban and restrict its community on playing Clash of Clans due to psychological reasons. The report said that the mobile game encourages an undesirable outcome that may result in conflict and violence. In addition, the app also affects the life of teenagers and their families.

Based on the statistical data that was gathered earlier this year, Clash of Clans was played by almost 64% of the total of mobile gamers in Iran.

This shocking announcement was released on December 27, 2016 and it is already effective. According to some Iranian Clash of Clan sites, players started having a problem when accessing the game. While some netizens in Iran agreed with the newly implemented action, some local Clash of Clans players suggested that instead of restricting all players, they should have added an age restriction.

Actually, Clash of Clans isn’t the mobile game that receives a ban hammer from Iran. Over the past few months, Niantic’s Pokemon Go also receives a ban hammer from the Iranian Government. This is due to the security issues which infiltrate the privacy of the Iranian people.
