Steps to Use WhatsApp on PC
WhatsApp has made a web version available for use on Windows and Mac computers. Although, a phone with WhatsApp installed is still need to use WhatsApp online on a computer. On your computer, WhatsApp’s web version creates a mirror copy of the phone version of WhatsApp.
In this case, we need to install WhatsApp on a PC without using a phone. To use WhatsApp on PC with BlueStacks, follow the steps below.
Download the BlueStacks app player
First, download and install the BlueStacks app player on your PC. To do so, open your computer’s browser and type http://www.bluestacks.com/ into the address bar.
Afterward, click the download button and follow the on-screen instructions until the installation is complete.
When prompted for app store access during installation, select yes.
Open BlueStacks App Player on your computer
After the download is complete, open the BlueStacks App Player by double-clicking the desktop shortcut or searching for it.
Sign in to Your Google Account
BlueStacks app player will assist you in signing in to your Google account. Would you please do so because access to the Google Play store is required?
Search for WhatsApp
Use the magnifying glass in the upper left corner of the app player to look for WhatsApp.
Click on Install
Click the install button in the Google Play Store and then accept when prompted by a list of permissions. Could you please wait for the app to finish installing?
Open WhatsApp
If you’re still in the Google Play Store, look for a Start button and click it to launch WhatsApp.
Verify Your Phone Number
When you open it, WhatsApp will ask you for your phone number to receive a WhatsApp verification code. So, please enter your phone number in the space provided.
When you enter the phone number, your computer will display the message “verification failed.” It’s perfectly normal, and there’s nothing to be concerned about.
Select the Call Your Phone option to hear an automated message containing the verification code. Enter the verification code to confirm your phone number.
Start Chatting
After entering the code, you should now see WhatsApp on your computer. To ensure that WhatsApp is working correctly on your computer, start a WhatsApp conversation with any of your contacts.
